Chapter Recruitment

Becoming part of the Greek community is a great way to get involved on campus and meet awesome new people! Kappa Kappa Gamma is home to a diverse group of young women from all around the world. Each year, KKG participates in Formal Membership Recruitment, where we look to welcome new members who share our values of friendship, scholarship, and leadership. As a chapter, our bonds of sisterhood are strengthened during Recruitment Week as we make an effort to get to know every Potential New Member. We look forward to meeting you! Go Greek!

A Letter From Kappa's Recruitment Chairs:

Dear Potential New Members,

As the recruitment chairs of Kappa Kappa Gamma, we welcome you to Cornell University! On behalf of the Psi Deuteron Chapter, we look forward to meeting each and every one of you throughout formal recruitment. We hope that you all have enjoyed your first semester at Cornell and know that you all will enjoy the coming semesters as sorority sisters even more. All of the sororities on Cornell's campus have so much to offer and are full of wonderful women whom we know you will enjoy getting to know throughout recruitment. Becoming a sorority sister is one of the most rewarding collegiate experiences, and all of the houses would be lucky to be home to each of you. We hope that you take the time to thoughtfully consider your choices and that you will choose the sorority where you feel most comfortable. Recruitment week is chaotic and overwhelming, but also rewarding. Through the recruitment process, both of us found a home at 508 Thurston. Not only is Kappa a home to us, but it is also home to athletes, academic fraternity brothers, BASE dancers, NBT singers, and so many others. We all come together to support our philanthropy, Reading is Fundamental, through fundraisers such as Kappa Dawgs. Through Kappa Kappa Gamma, we found a support network of beautiful and intelligent women that have been by our sides through both the good and the bad. Kappa provides sisters with a family away from home. We are so proud to call ourselves Kappas and hope that you will feel the same way after recruitment wherever you decide to join.

Love,

Dana and Andrea
